Gasboy Prime – Approved Software
CHS Payment Solutions has worked with Gasboy to approve Gasboy Prime for release on the Cenex network. This latest release introduces Outdoor EMV (OEMV) support.
In accordance with the CHS Approved Software Release plan, Gasboy Prime is an CHS Approved Software Version for Gasboy. At this time, there are not any new software expirations for Gasboy. The two current CHS Approved Software Versions for Gasboy are:
- Gasboy Plus — Please note, any locations still operating on Gasboy Plus will be held liable for fraudulent transactions
- Gasboy Prime
A $250 out-of-date software fee will be applied to any location currently operating on software older than Gasboy Plus. Regular software upgrades help fulfill requirement 6 of the PCI standard (develop and maintain secure systems and applications). For security and PCI Compliance reasons, POS Protect + and the Paysafe UTM are required in place of the Abierto device. For additional details, please click here.
