Be sure to update your POS clocks today so your location meets the Payment Application and the PCI requirements. These requirements state that the payment application point of sale must record the transaction date and time

In addition, card brands require that your POS equipment maintain an accurate transaction date and time as consumers have the right to dispute any transactions that do not show the correct date and time of the purchase on their receipt.
