If the installation is not complete before transactions are processed, issues may arise, such as the loss of related financial sales data.

On March 12, 2024, CHS Payment Solutions announced the approval of Comdata SmartDESQ software version 3.25 and the expiration of all previous Comdata SmartDESQ software versions. Software version 3.25 introduces support for the contactless payment enabled M400 pin pad, for which Comdata has completed certification on the Cenex-NBS network.
