Network configuration names are set by CHS Payment Solutions and National Bankcard Services (NBS) to ensure transactions are as secure as possible.

Software upgrades to the Gilbarco Passport Point of Sale (POS) may also require network configuration name changes. If a location upgrades their software and the configuration name is not updated, credit card processing issues could occur.  

Current approved Passport software versions, 20.04 and 21.02 require configuration name changes that start with WCHS. If your configuration name starts with CHS or ECHS, it needs to be updated to WCHS and the letters and numbers that follow will remain the same.
