In accordance with the CHS Approved Software Release plan, CHS Payment Solutions is excited to announce Verifone version 53.40 as the newest approved software version for Commander.
The three current CHS approved software versions for Commander are as follows:
- Pinnacle – 12.8.9
- Triple E – Release 8
- Verifone – 53.40
There are currently no expiring software versions for Commander.
Issues Corrected by v53.40
- Slow fuel prepay transactions
- Slow DCR transactions
- DCR transactions halting or declining mid-transaction
- “Error communicating with fuel server” message during prepay transactions
If you are experiencing any of the above issues, you have the option to upgrade to v53.40 while waiting for v53.41 to become available.
Verifone version 53.41 will be released in the coming months. Version 53.41 will be a required software upgrade and will add support for contactless EMV transactions. Be sure to keep an eye out for future In The Know articles announcing the release of v53.41.
