Now available: Gilbarco Passport software version 26.01
CHS Payment Solutions has approved Gilbarco Passport version 26.01, available beginning September 30, 2026.
Under the CHS Approved Software Release plan, version 26.01 will be the only CHS-approved Passport software version following its release and all earlier Passport versions will be considered expired. Sites using earlier versions should plan to upgrade as soon as possible.
Upgrading helps maintain software support, reduces the risk of service complications, and enables support for Visa Fleet 2.0. Version 26.01 is the only Passport version supported on the CHS network for Visa Fleet 2.0, a Visa mandated capability for all Point of Sale software. Sites operating non-compliant Visa Fleet 2.0 software may be subject to card-brand non-compliance fines.
Sites operating expired Passport software will begin incurring Out of Date fees on February 1, 2027.
Upgrade and support considerations
- Update the Passport configuration name to VCHSGP1. This can be done in Manager Workstation (MWS) >> Network >> Cenex >> Site Configuration. Contact your Authorized Service Contractor (ASC) or CHS Payment Solutions with questions.
- Some sites may be eligible for a remote upgrade. Eligibility depends on the current Passport version and dispenser model.
- Sites with Wayne, FlexPay IV, or older dispenser models, as well as sites operating Passport version 23.01 or earlier, may require an onsite technician visit to update dispenser firmware and Passport software.
- Sites not operating on a supported software version are not eligible for remote software updates. If a Legacy Site Gateway experiences an unrecoverable outage, onsite service will be required.
