CHS Payment Solutions has worked with Gilbarco to approve Passport version 21.02 for release on the Cenex network. This release introduces full Outdoor EMV (OEMV) support for WEX and Voyager on Gilbarco dispensers.
In accordance with the newly announced CHS Approved Software Release plan, v21.02 is our first CHS Approved Software Version for Gilbarco. At this time, there are not any new software expirations for Gilbarco Passport. The two current CHS Approved Software Versions for Gilbarco Passport are:
- v20.04
- v21.02
A $250 out-of-date software fee will be applied to any location currently operating on v20.01 or older software.
Regular software upgrades help fulfill requirement 6 of the PCI standard (develop and maintain secure systems and applications), and with v21.02 introducing EMV support for Wex and Voyager, upgrading is recommended as it will help reduce chargebacks for fraudulent Wex and Voyager transactions.
