The four major card brands have varying timeframes within which merchants can dispute a chargeback. Please see below the timeframes allotted by each of the four brands.

Visa and MasterCard:

• Merchants have 12 days from notification by CHS of a chargeback to dispute

American Express:

• Merchants have 15 days from notification by CHS of a chargeback to dispute

Discover:

• Merchants have 30 days from notification by CHS of a chargeback to dispute
