PaySafe Equipment Charge Update

CHS Payment Solutions would like to make merchants aware of a recent update to the lost equipment fees for unreturned PaySafe devices.

Last month, CHS Payment Solutions noticed a billing discrepancy between the actual cost of a PaySafe device versus what was being charged for lost equipment. After further review, it was discovered that each model of PaySafe has a different cost. Instead of charging lost equipment fees based off of the model, CHS Payment Solutions has been charging one standard fee across the board. This has caused a large discrepancy.

Moving forward, lost equipment fees will vary depending on the model of the unreturned PaySafe. Fees will range between $200-$700 instead of a standard amount across the board. Please note, we will not be adjusting any historical billing, this will only apply to unreturned PaySafe devices moving forward. As long as PaySafe devices are returned within the equipment return window, merchants do not need to worry about lost equipment fees.
