Action Required – Triple E Software Upgrade
A mandatory software upgrade to v5.331 for the Triple E OneTouch Suite has been released and requires your action.
The latest release moves all memory previously stored on a PC (locally encrypted data) to memory that is automatically erased and is only compatible with Windows 10. The decision to erase locally encrypted data helps ensure that both consumer and vendor data is protected. Reach out to Triple E Technologies or your Authorized Service Contractor (ASC) for clarification or with any questions you may have about this latest upgrade.
With all software releases, and to fulfill requirement 6 of the PCI standard (develop and maintain secure systems and applications), the new software version will need to be installed by 10/14/2020 or a $250 out-of-date software fee will be assessed.
