Point-of-sale age verification coming soon
Age verification requirements continue to evolve across the industry. TruAge® is a mission-driven, not-for-profit solution developed by NACS and Conexxus, in partnership with retailers and manufacturers, to help keep age‑restricted products out of the hands of minors while protecting consumer privacy and supporting efficient transactions.
Software Availability
For Verifone users, support for TruAge is expected to be available with the next CHS site controller software release. Verifone and Passport (Invenco by GVR) devices will be enabled with this version on the network, with timing currently anticipated in summer 2026. This update will support automated age verification at the point of sale and reduce reliance on manual ID checks.
CENEXPO
NACS will be at booth #105 at CENEXPO, where attendees can stop by to learn more about TruAge, ask questions and review how the solution works.
