Reminder: update POS clocks on November 2
Daylight Saving Time will come to an end on Sunday, November 2. Don’t forget to update the time on your point of sale (POS) equipment!
It is important to keep the time on your POS clocks accurate to ensure your location meets Payment Application and PCI requirements. These requirements state that the payment application point of sale must record the transaction date and time.
In addition, card brands require that your POS equipment maintain an accurate transaction date and time as consumers have the right to dispute any transactions that do not show the correct date and time of the purchase on their receipt.
