Gilbarco Software v20.04
As you are aware, the Ingenico ISC250 PIN pad has reached its end of life. As communicated last month, the Ingenico would not be supported with the next planned Gilbarco software release, which was Gilbarco software version 21.01.
Recently, we were made aware of a development within Gilbarco software version 20.04 which provides a workaround for the recent WEX and Voyager EMV chip card issue. Installation of v20.04 will allow WEX and Voyager chip cards to work at dispensers as magstripe cards, eliminating the need for cardholders to go inside and complete transactions. As this has been an inconvenience for many, we have decided the next Gilbarco software version will be 20.04 with a planned release date of Q2 2021. As with 21.01, 20.04 will not support the Ingenico ISC250 PIN pad.
In accordance with PCI compliance requirements, the Ingenico ISC250 must be replaced with the Verifone MX915, version 4.0. The MX915 can be purchased through your Authorized Service Contractor (ASC). To assist in purchasing these new PIN pads, CHS will be offering technology rebates. In order to qualify for technology rebates, PIN pads must be ordered by 8/31/21, and installed by 12/31/21.
