Update your POS clocks today so your location meets the Payment Application and the PCI requirements. These requirements enforce POS payment applications to record the transaction date and time. Card brands also require POS equipment maintain accurate transaction dates and times.
Updating to the correct time on your POS also ensures consumers have accurate transaction information. Consumers have the right to dispute all transactions if their receipt shows incorrect date and/or time information.
