Cenex Voyager Fleet Card Printing Update
As has been previously communicated, US Bank began producing and distributing the Cenex® Voyager Fleet credit card on behalf of CHS and the Cenex brand earlier this year. In preparation for the Voyager Fleet credit card to switch to EMV, in the coming weeks all Cenex Voyager Fleet credit cards will feature flat printing instead of embossed printing.
As a reminder, embossed credit cards have raised text and are able to be run through an imprinter during manual transactions. Flat printed credit cards have flat text and are not able to be run through an imprinter. This means that new Cenex Voyager Fleet credit cards cannot be imprinted during a manual transaction.
As previously mentioned, CHS Payment Solutions does not recommend manual transactions as a back-up form of payment. If a customer is paying by card but the EMV chip entry and fallback entry method (swiping the magnetic strip) fail, merchants should ask for another form of payment.
If you have any questions about the credit card printing update or flat versus embossed printing, please contact CHS Payment Solutions at 800-852-5301.
