Storm Season is Here – Test Your Cellular Backup Connectivity

During storm season it is more important than ever to test the cellular backup capability of your PaySafe UTM. It is recommended to test cellular backup at least twice per year to ensure it is operating correctly if your internet service is interrupted.

To test the cellular backup function, choose a time of day when business slows down to minimize customer disturbance. Disconnect the internet connection from the Paysafe UTM and verify transactions are still able to process. Customers should not notice any differences between the cellular backup speed and the existing internet connection.
