Upcoming card changes – effective January 1, 2026
Last month, CHS Payment Solutions mailed notices regarding an upcoming change that will affect how certain card transactions are processed. Beginning January 1, 2026, the following card types will transition to Mastercard rates:
- Bass Pro Shops® and Cabela’s® CLUB Mastercard
- Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s CLUB Business Mastercard
In April 2025, Cenex® marketers were notified that the proprietary credit card relationship between Cenex and Bass Pro Shops/Cabela’s would cease as of December 31, 2025, and all marketing materials, including credit card acceptance decals, relating to that card relationship would need to be removed.
