Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s Partnership Update Reminder
As previously communicated, effective December 31, 2025, the Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s partnership will come to an end. The decision to end this partnership is due to technological, financial and industry changes. After December 31, retailers can still accept this card as a form of payment, consumers will just no longer receive double points for those transactions.
Applications and marketing materials related to the Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s partnership, including credit card acceptance decals, must now be removed/replaced in-store and online. These items will be evaluated during the current round of the Brand Standard Audit begins. If Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s materials are still displayed in-store when the Brand Standard Audit is performed, the evaluation will result in an automatic failure until materials are removed and cures submitted.
By now, all Cenex® branded locations* should have received a Marketing Kit and Manager’s Guide outlining the changes noted above with replacement materials to accommodate the noted changes.
